The first NASA TAIGA – World Wind project videoconference was held on Feb. 4, 2014 between the NPHS team, Patrick Hogan – the NASA World Wind Project Manager at NASA Ames Research Center in California, and Ron Fortunato – America Bridge director from Trillium Learning. The VTC served as a project launch, with Patrick Hogan discussing the project history, mission/goals and current activities. Students discussed their project plan, responsibilities and deliverables for the project. Student activities are now underway, including World Wind iOS software testing and flight simulation runs.
