A partnership with the International Center for Earth Simulation (ICES) as an educational outreach program is under development, which will provide teachers and students with content and process for understanding how to use simulations to model Earth’s systems. The mission of ICES is to integrate the vast pools of knowledge contained within today’s multitude of scientific and socio-economic specializations and to develop next generation ‘holistic’ modeling, simulation and visualizations that accurately depict the medium and long term future direction of planet Earth.
A World Bridge™ Projects will utilize NASA’s World Wind geospatial modeling platform to understand, track and affect environmental change, and will use ICES-generated data to analyze and understand trends.
